My first Total Eclipse
It was not how I expected. The light, the temperature drop, and the sheer impression of the corona against the dark sky was unforgettable. My first total solar eclipse of my life, and perhaps the only one I'll ever see near the horizon.
When I first heard about the solar eclipse coming in August 2026, the first in Europe for over 25 years, I knew I would want to see it. Luckily for me, the path of totality passed over Valencia, Spain, where I have some dear friends. My first-hand goal for this day was to experience it with my senses. I would not bother with trying to photograph it, since anyway I don't have the required telephoto lenses or telescope-adapters.
But since I happened to carry a small handy camera with some zoom range, I did go for a few photos and videos of the sky spectacle. I must say the Insta360 Luna Ultra did a decent job! What do you think?
